Due to expansion, this international organisation have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Design Engineer to join their site-based team in Kintore, Aberdeenshire.
The main function of the role is to engineer designs for mechanical / electrical substation projects up to a voltage of 400kV. Amongst the various tasks required for this role, the Design Engineer will carry out the following:
The contribution to the development and training needs of the Design Team as appropriate to the skill level / experience.
Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with standard Company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Procedures and Work Instructions.
Upon contract award, liasing and co-ordinating contract requirements with Project Manager, customer, external suppliers and other Departments at earliest opportunity.
Establishing Design content of work package and the Design resource to achieve the required time scales, via development of detail engineering design plans.
Specialising in the design, manufacture, construction and commissioning of high voltage Substations for Clients in the UK and Overseas.
Requirements
All candidtates MUST have high voltage substation experience - 132 - 400kV.
